Who is…

Have you ever looked at a Facebook request for friendship and asked yourself, “who is…” or read the newspaper and asked the same question? Then you could also have asked yourself in those deep moments of thought, “who is Jesus?”

Yes, it is in the present tense because He is! He has never left us and irrespective of our personal feelings or thoughts, never will! He loves us too much for that.

How can that be when he allows so much hurt, anger and war?

The easiest way to answer that is that it is not Him who allows it but our own greeds and lusts.is it my greed that my Father was savagely murdered in a farm attack by a group of savages?   No!    It was their greed .  But they were simply hungry…they are refugees!

To you they are refugees yes…hurt and beyond help …or so it seems but who are to help them? You are! Didi you offer them a roof such as you have r did you offer them some food when standing on a corner? In Titus it stands that the sign of a believer and especially one who ascribes to leadership is the gift of hospitality. To who must you show this hospitality? To your friends in church? Invite them over for a cup of coffee? No, No, No. a thousand times NO! That is not hospitality but simply friendship among your already established group of acquaintances.

Hospitality is going beyond your comfort and without expectation of any reciprocity sharing that which Jesus has already given you. Be it food, money or even simply a positive spirit!

So, yes, you are responsible for the death of your Father if that is the simple answer to a simple question!
