The ultimate travel destination!

I have been honoured to have travelled throughout the world. Following Marco Polo’s travels from Beijing to Florence and visiting the Hippie route of the 70’s staying in Nepal and India, but there is still one country that has captured my heart, Namibia.

Samarkand in Uzbekistan has a charm with the thick walls circling the old town and the amazing tile-work. Urgench has an old world interest and a pace which is conducive to relaxed cups of tea. Tashkent has that typical mix of local and western as so many larger cities with too much TV access:)

Christmas ??? Last entry this year:)

I have started writing this blog three times now and am at a loss of how to express what is in my heart. Let me rather just say it how it is! I want to express my deep love for Jesus and what He has done for me as an undeserving individual.

I meet with a group in an enormous legal frim where we spend lunchtime doing what used to be called a “bible study”. This group has so challenged my thoughts and created in me a deeper desire to push into what Jesus has. Let me elaborate.

Kaka- European footballer of the year

Once more, the incredible talent of Inter Milan and Brazilian footballer, Kaka has been rewarded with his appointment as European footballer of the year.

This mercurial and extremely refreshing player deserves the accolades poured on him as his level of skill and fleet feet has proven the better of many a player. The talent of Kaka is that he can spot the goal and direct the ball with power and accuracy while running at speed.
