You may have noticed the vast subject range on which I am writing and asked yourself what is this about? This blog site is still in it’s infancy and is simply a tool we are trying to use to share the gospel. I am being assisted by some very dear friends who are my subject advisers and technically skilled professionals as well as accountability partners!
Wayne Borcher was with us from the initiation of the church and is superb in the technical area as he manages the blog. He also has his own site you are welcome to view, Mind Games, which is on our links. Then there is Nico Liebenberg who is a psychologist and close friend who assists me with subject matter.
The subject matter has a purpose. It is to reflect what we believe and that is primarily that we love God and serve him in a church without walls. Our full belief statement can be seen at the link for All Nations by accessing Floyd and Sally’s blog. I have been asked but who is the target? The target is not members of All Nations or the basic and conservative Christian element because they need not be “accepted” by the Christian community. Our target is the ethereal world of the Internet space where weird things happen like “all those agreeing with the belief of telekinesis raise my hand”!
The weird and wacky who have been relegated to the sidelines of getting to know Him. This is simply another way to allow people to see that He is indeed desirable and can fit into their life. As they engage on Him we believe that He will do a work and draw them deeper into His love. So this is simply another mission but without going anywhere yet going everywhere. The response has so far been beyond what we have expected and now we are saddled and have to ride this thing called blog. You will notice on some stories…the more general and thought provoking stories…for instance this posting will not have a “digg” barometer. We have signed in to digg which is simply a feeder and rates stories. This increases our traffic and broadens the net.
If you will I will appreciate you signing in and voting for us as at Digg as the more votes a story gets the more readers it attracts and that is how we cast the broader net. We have been able to attract unknown readers at a rate of 100 per day. On our stats we see that as they visit the site to read the posted story they also read the other stories.
It is however important not to portray yourself to be something different so even if we have a political story we will have a call to consider the Christian view somehow and our views must be honest.
I hope this helps you when you read our postings and you pray that it achieves it’s aims. Think of it as a different type of “Shiver Relief”. See the shiver relief post if you do not understand this.
Blessings,
The team
