It is estimated that we spend 70% of our time in a work environment! As a recruiter, I daily meet people looking for a better position which is “more suited” to them. I ask myself, when you first applied to the position you are now in did you select a company which would make you drastically unhappy? Why does our work environment sour on us? Do you have a GVD of your life?
29 03 2007
I heard an amazing concept while in discussion with a friend. We were talking about “which Superhero powers would you choose”?
There are 8 powers ranging from Flying, Invisibility, X-ray vision, Time Travel, Power to change forms, Mind reading, Super hearing to Seeing into the future. As we discussed each power it was discarded as we could see the obvious abuse of the power and he said what he would like is a GVD of his life. OK, so you are not a techno buff and do not know what a GVD is. Well, it is a God Versatile Disc of my life! Read the rest of this entry »

For the All Nations Family members
28 03 2007
You may have noticed the vast subject range on which I am writing and asked yourself what is this about? This blog site is still in it’s infancy and is simply a tool we are trying to use to share the gospel. I am being assisted by some very dear friends who are my subject advisers and technically skilled professionals as well as accountability partners! Read the rest of this entry »

Why the Social Engineering in South Africa Won’t Work
28 03 2007South Africa has embarked on an ambitious drive to rectify the past ills since independence and the glory days with Nelson Mandela heading an invigorated group of people seriously trying to uplift a society. Yet time rolls on and new leadership come to the fore with new ideas or differing views of existing ideas.
The Apartheid era was designed to protect the interests of the minority white Afrikaner group in South Africa. The new regime correctly are trying to rectify the lack of education and involvement in industry caused by this belief. The South African regime are using social engineering to correct these traits left over from the past Governments run by the National Party. Read the rest of this entry »

Twenty reasons why we should be filled with joy!
27 03 2007
This is a conclusion of the Vinoh saga. Thank you to all the friends who gathered around Vinoh and the girls as they went through a rather trying situation from moving “home” five times and ending in a flatlet with 16 others including practicing satanists and the episode of the apartment with 7 other young males we never knew about and which ended up with the Police ensuring all went well. Why we shiver
27 03 2007
I have spoken about the fantastic work Duard Le Roux and his team do with Shiver Relief! Here is a headline from the Sowetan of the 22nd March. – “Sleeping in the Open“, Nokubonga Dlamini and her three month old baby have spent the past two nights sleeping out in the open. Dlamini and hundreds of others who have been evicted from a block of flats in Johannesburg on Monday have tried to regain entrance.

Porn, smut and “bounce”
27 03 2007
In “sweet seduction of sin” we spoke about armor plating oneself against the onslaughts of pornography. In sitting with my colleague yesterday (who is a psychologist) we were discussing this aspect and he told me about “bouncing eyes”. Here is the concept!

Mandela and Joseph Vs Zuma and us
26 03 2007Pastoor pleit by Mbeki ná sy dogter 9 keer verkrag is
Sy foon het in die vroeë oggendure gelui en die polisieman het vir hom gesê sy dogter wil met hom praat…
Translation: Pastor begs Mbeki after his daughter was raped 9 times. His phone rang in the early morning when a policeman informed him that his daughter wanted to speak to him…
This headline struck me this morning when reading the paper. My heart leapt and dismay crept into my soul. How are we to deal with something like this. This request made to the President of South Africa by a Pastor from Kimberley was inspired after the President had claimed that it is only the white racists complaining about crime in SA. Oprah and St. John
22 03 2007
I was sitting with a dear friend who is a psychologist and mentioned that I have lately been experiencing something quite unusual for me, depressions! As we discussed this he told me about the thoughts of St John of the Cross. The basic thought is that God at times slows us down and causes “depression” so that we can undergo some inner character development.
Let us be sure and mention this is not a clinical or treatable depression but simply a feeling of dread and sorrow about nothing in particular that one cannot shake. It often takes root for two to three days every three months or so. Churchill called it the “Big black dog”! Read the rest of this entry »

What would Chuck Norris do?
22 03 2007
In “Sweet Seduction” we spoke about the cycle of sin. Thank you to the brothers who have declared they are arming themselves to join me in this fight! I am predominantly writing to men although being aware that woman have the same challenges.
It has been for a few decades now that we have been faced with the challenge of “do you know the colour of Puce”? I did not even know there was such a colour or if I have the spelling correct! We have heard in most of the overpriced, glossy magazines that we should be “in touch with our feminine side”. Well, I don’t have a feminine side.
